Nutty Boyfriend
Today I was minding my own business taking photos of a gal at my studio. About 5 minutes in, the door to the studio bursts open and a nutty, crazed guy storms in.
It’s her ex, or boyfriend, or something, and he’s FOLLOWED her to the studio from 40 miles away, and is now ready to beat me AND her up.
I told him that he was trespassing and that I’d call the cops. He got an inch from my face and started screaming at me. He then said he was going to leave and take “his girl” with him.
Well, I could tell from the girl’s expression she didn’t want that, so I told him “you are partly right… you’re going to leave, but you ARE NOT taking her with you.”
With that, he again got in my face and started screaming, and I had two choices. Back away and let him win, or stand firm and stay calm. I chose to stay right there and repeated that he was leaving… alone.
I think the fact that I’m a foot taller than him might have influenced his decision to leave. But leave he did…
Next time I shoot, I will remember my gun.
