I Told You So

I’d like to take this opportunity to say, “I told you so, you miserable pukes.”

Of course “most of Texas was spared” in hurricane Rita. The only reason Rita made the news, caused evacuations, or even mattered one little bit was that the media used its scare tactics and sensational journalism to create a panic in the wake of Katrina. They always do it, and we should know it by now.

If a hurricane destroys a city, the next 20 hurricanes are not going to destroy another one. A “100 Year” disaster doesn’t happen within 2 weeks. Or at least, the statistics do not support the theory. The odds of 2 events like Katrina/New Orleans occuring in the same DECADE, let alone MONTH are astronomically small.

And frankly, most of the cities in the U.S. were smart enough to build ABOVE sea level, so even when there is a big hurricane, it’s not going to destroy them.

I suppose if I were a black leader, today I’d be saying that the reason Texas wasn’t affected is that it’s mostly white people living there. Because we all know Texas doesn’t have poor people.

Stop freaking listening to CNN for 2 seconds and use your brains. Katrina isn’t happening again any time soon, and if we have the good sense to let New Orleans sink into the ocean, we won’t have to worry about it EVER happening again. The horse is dead. Get off.
