My New Educational Pursuit

I decided it was time to brush up on my photography, so I enrolled in the Professional Photography course at New York Institute of Photography. They have a highly rated program, so I think I will benefit from it.

The driver was twofold. First, I want to make sure I’m giving my photography customers the best I possibly can. Second, now that I’m done with school for good (and done teaching for good), I want to continue my education in other ways. I don’t want to become stagnant.

I read about a fellow (his name escapes me now) who would spend a full year learning a new skill inside and out. By the time he died, he’d mastered dozens of difficult skills.

He’s a bit of an inspiration to me.

So whatever you are interested in, I’d encourage you to really take the time to learn about it and master it. Don’t let you brain sit on the sidelines!

This is a great philosophy. It can’t help but lead to your continued perspicacity!

I completely agree with this. Once I’m done with my school goals I’m going to start developing other aspects of myself. There’s only so much one can do while going to school full time and working full time. Alas.
