Although I am really disappointed that Obama did not incorporate any of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech... I really think he should have - and it even would have been appropriate. I found it strange he didn't even mention MLK's name...

I must say that if you take the politics out of the equation, this has been a highly entertaining race if nothing else.

First the historical perspective: Regardless of the outcome something unprecedented will happen.

Second the gamesmanship, I thought McCain's congratulatory kudos recognizing the historical event of Obama's acceptance of the nomination was both classy and unequivocably political in its apolitical nature. It showed McCain as a human and confirmed his status as a "maverick" in that he did something that I can't ever remember a presidential candidate doing, actually taking a pause from the race to recognize something bigger than the presidential race, contrived or not I thought that was kinda cool.

3rd for McCain to NOT pick the "safe" choice in Romney was phenomenal.

4th Dude, Obama's speech last night was impressive, you gotta admit the guy can give an effing speech.

The Alaska motto has been 'Coldest state, hottest governor' since she got elected! (AP)

Honestly, 10 years of Senatorial experience doesn't equal one year of actual executive experience, which neither Biden nor Obama has.

I hope they smoke the Dems' pumpkins.
