There is absolutely nothing wrong with heating certain parts of a home with an oven…

…as long as it’s an ELECTRIC OVEN. A gas oven, yeah that could be bad.

Oh and anti-belated congrats (would that be pre-congrats, ante-congrats??) on completing ye olde MBA, I look back and think how in the world did I manage to go to school fulltime, work fulltime, remain married, raise two kids and live, then I remembered, I didn’t really sleep, eat or breathe much in 05 & 06.

But I’m making up for that in the 07, I’m almost back up to my fighting weight of 647 pounds whoo hoo!!! (ok maybe I exaggerated by 3 or 4 hundred pounds)

Rachel, it’s totally kosher to heat the house with your oven. We tried that for a couple hours, too!

I feel your pain about the house being cold. Our furnace died this week. Nothing spells fun like needing to purchase a new boiler/ furnace the week you also have to start paying off your wedding! Right now it’s 58 degrees in here. Is it ghetto to use an open oven to take the edge off the first floor? I’m just asking…xoxox

A lot of exciting changes! And all exciting changes always cost a lot of money. Congratulations on all the cool stuff that’s happening.
