I Hail From Philadelphia
Jenna, her brother and I spent the day traveling to lovely Philly for New Year’s and holiday celebration. Jenna and Rachel are out on the town while I work on work, so I thought I’d take a break and write to you!
Tomorrow night we’ll be in a penthouse on 2nd street downtown, overlooking the Delaware where the Philadelphia fireworks are done. It’s the best seat in the house, and I get to try out my new camera which actually has a fireworks mode. Should be fun. I’ll post the results, good or bad.
We’re also planning on visiting the Franklin Center so I can finally see the liberty bell. I’ve been here a bunch of times and still haven’t managed to see the most famous landmark in the city.
I’m also going to try and use this week to get back “on the wagon.” I’m weaning myself off of Pepsi… my stomach will thank me, I’m sure. My head is really ticked about it at the moment, though.
I’m working concurrently on 7 website designs. My hobby is becoming more and more time-consuming. I always thought it would be great if I could start turning jobs down… and I’ve definitely reached that point. I also have several major projects in play at my real job, and 2007 forecasting to do for the other business I’m working on.
Frankly, I’m swamped.
In unrelated news, I received my approval letter from the attorney general’s office. I am now approved to pack heat. When I get back to KC, I plan to go out and purchase a Glock 27 as my carry gun. I’m quite excited about the prospect.
Also, the Chiefs play tomorrow. Apparently if they win, three other AFC teams lose, and the Chargers go down in a plan crash, we have a chance at going to the Superbowl this year. Who knew?
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the execution of Saddam. The big news today was that he refused to wear a hood. Good. I think the people whose families he murdered should GET to see his eyes pop out of his head. I think it’s awesome.
Of course, I also support showing US executions on cable, so this should come as no surprise to you.
That is all.

So, what’s the ETA on you sending all your devoted customers an “I heart IncrediPete” t-shirt? Let’s not forget that *mine* should read: “I Stumped IncrediPete!” … heh … xoxox … I can’t sleep which is why I am up at 7am on a Sunday after going to bed well past midnight. If I don’t fall asleep soon I’m going to start sober-dialing … now aren’t you glad I have your phone numbers?

I know that there are a lot of good things to be said for the Glock, but I was wondering if you have ever checked out the Taurus line of firearms? I think they are every bit as stylish as the glock, but there is a definite advantage as to the actions on the Taurus.
I’m just saying, I have the new catalog and I think that with the firing/jamming ratio of the Glock, the Taurus may be a better gun for your needs.

Hahahaha. Look, I’m you! I just wanted to say Happy New Year! Everything here is going wonderfully. Thanks for helping me escape my family for a week of solitude, or rather, chosen company. I hope your New Year’s Eve was a fun one. I’ll be in touch. Much love.

Happy New Year Pete! Hope you’re having fun in Philly! But do hurry up and get back soon. Slowknitter brother is ready to go live and Slowknitter brother’s wife wants her husband to stop tweaking the html and start paying attention to her…
