I Hail from Texas
Yes, I hail from scenic Sherman, Texas. (If by “scenic” you mean “cows and shacks”)
I’m on an exciting and exotic consulting assignment, company confidential. It’s one of the first assignments I’ve worked on where I’m fully responsible for the final results and output. Basically, this session involves me standing in front of a room full of people for two straight days and trying to prevent them from falling asleep.
Day one was today, and almost everyone was awake at the end of the session. I’m relieved to be halfway through this thing. I drove down on Monday, and I drive back tomorrow night after the session ends. After today’s session, I came back to my room and was unconscious within 5 minutes. That does not bode well for tomorrow’s drive home.
Oh well.
I don’t really like traveling, and I especially don’t like required traveling. I hate flying, but I also hate driving, and that seems to be the only options until they invent a transporter that can send me electronically.
My room is absolutely freezing. It’s gotta be 40 degrees in here. Whenever I’m in a hotel, I always crank the AC to it’s coldest setting… just so the hotel will have to pay for the electricity… and, I don’t mind being cold.
However, it’s cold enough that I’m going to get under the covers and that means I have to stop typing.
Ciao!

Why don’t you see if you can get me a job working for your company. I need a change and I need it bad!

When you’re eating out down there and they have a Texas size anything you should ask them for the Alaska size because Alaska is bigger than Texas. It will really piss them off. I had a friend who did that in a bar and they were asked to leave.

I got over two feet of snow in the blizzard yesterday…It took me an hour to dig my car out of the snow drifts and get it out.
